In the new year we will be welcoming back our former long-time colleague Randi Augenstein. Randi will be returning as our head of innovation and business development.

With a solid portfolio and at a time when our core expertise in wooden architecture, social sustainability and transformation is receiving increased attention, we want to strengthen our position in the market. Randi’s experiences as a former architect and general manager at Helen & Hard, as well as her role as manager of the innovation house Innoasis at Nordic Edge, give her a unique background to lift this venture.

Our aim is to be a driver for sustainable architecture and urban development, especially in the face of major societal challenges such as urbanisation, climate change and social inequality.

We are constantly seeing a shift in the market and customer needs, which requires deeper insight and a greater ability to adapt to new forms of collaboration. Through a strengthened international presence and an increased focus on sustainable or regenerative solutions, we will create movements towards a better future.

Architecture is not only about creating buildings, but about shaping society and community for future generations. Helen & Hard is a unique office in terms of both ambition, ability to innovate and execution power.

I want to contribute to extracting greater value from the experience and knowledge the company already possesses, and at the same time look at new development opportunities. The goal is to be able to deliver even better services and architecture to our customers, and an architecture that the future needs.

– Randi Augenstein

A central part of this work will be the further development of Gaining By Sharing, a concept that offers collective housing and which functions as a subsidiary of Helen & Hard.

This initiative reflects our desire to create inclusive, sustainable solutions for future housing needs.

Randi will start at Helen & Hard from January 1, 2024.
