How do we build community? / Hvordan bygge felleskap?

Social development calls for new forms of living that reduce loneliness and support aging in place. Dwellings of the future should enable us to live comfortably in our homes for as long as possible, and empower us to take greater responsibility for our own health.

Together with residents from Vindmøllebakken and Vålandstun, Grønn By, the City Architect in Stavanger municipality and Bateboligbygg, we are organising the conference Social Housing: How to Build Community.

Join us for an inspiring and forward-thinking event where we explore the future of social living. We will be delving into several important themes alongside Bent Høie, Tina Larsen, and Gro Sandkjær Hansen.

•The homes of the future should be about building community, but what does that mean?

• What qualities are there in community and how can it be a tool?

• What are community spaces and what does it take to make them work?

• What is it like to live in a community and what do architects and home builders think about building them?

The conference will be held on the 3rd of June at Innoasis, Stavanger.
